C.H.A.M.P.S

The acronym CHAMPS reflects the categories, or

students about major activities and transitions
that occurs in my Classroom [whole group
instruction, independent instruction, small
group instruction, and transitions (switching
classes/centers)].

C (Conversation) under what circumstances, if any, can students talk to each other during the activity.

H (Help) How do students get their question answered during the activity? How do they get teachers attention

A (Activity) What is the activity? What is its intended objective or end product?

M (Movement) under what circumstances, if any, can students move about during the activity?
