Class Up Dates
Good Morning Parents,
The students and I are working on a new set of greek and latin root words. This week is "dict". Student have receive a package of words (last week) and each week we will focus on one set. There is the complete set on Quizlet.
Thursday will be the last day that I am excepting late work. Please make sure your child have completed 5 book reports for the quarter.
Small group instruction will begin next Monday. In small group instruction I will focus on the students weakness in ELA to help them gain 5 points by the end of the school year.

The Learning Standard for this week is
RL.6.7 Compare and contrast the experience of reading a story, drama, or poem to listening to or viewing an audio, video, or live version of the text, including contrasting what they "see" and "hear" when reading the text ti what they perceive when they listen or watch.
Today we have read All in a Summer Day in our reading text book for homework students are expected to watch the movie version of the story which is 30 min long. The youtube link is

Students should take notes and summaries their perspective/experience of the movie. We will compare and contrast in class tomorrow.
